We want to streamline the sale of Biodiversity Net Gain units, making them easier for the construction industry to purchase. We're looking to see how we can implement a one-click solution, so we can easily tie up sales of BNG units. Then we can hopefully speed up the whole process, making it possible to rejuvenate the UK's countryside faster.

We've started getting as many BNG units listed on this site as possible. Our next step will be to give construction developers tools to search our database, to find the cheapest units and to reach out directly to BNG unit holders requesting their current (bid) best price and building in the government multipliers etc giving a shortlist of suitable units available by price.

We'll then start looking to create information packs and supporting landowners/BNG project managers starting their journey.

Our fee is currently set at 3% of the unit price (we've seen others charging 10%), this low fee covers our costs and will also help us create information packs and best practice guides, and also help us fund implementing bird boxes, bat boxes etc at some of the BNG sites.
